Esta semana, nos unimos al Programa de Manejo de Activos de Turismo Sostenible (STAMP, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s) de la Universidad de Cornell para el lanzamiento de su Comit\u00e9 Directivo Colaborativo, un grupo de partes interesadas locales de organizaciones clave en Puerto Rico que guiar\u00e1n el Programa Regional de Manejo de Destino Tur\u00edstico Sostenible para el Bosque Nacional El Yunque.<\/p>

Para Foundation for Puerto Rico es un honor ser parte de esta iniciativa, que re\u00fane a l\u00edderes del gobierno local, la industria de viajes y turismo, organizaciones de conservaci\u00f3n y el \u00e1mbito acad\u00e9mico para establecer una visi\u00f3n compartida sobre c\u00f3mo el desarrollo del turismo a lo largo de la Ruta 186 puede beneficiar tanto a las comunidades locales como al Bosque Nacional El Yunque.<\/a> Este esfuerzo tambi\u00e9n incluye la creaci\u00f3n de un sistema de monitoreo del destino que apoye pr\u00e1cticas de manejo sostenible.<\/p>
