to revitalize Route 191 on the southeast corridor of Puerto Rico as an inviting and vibrant destination and secondary entrance to one of Puerto Rico\u2019s most important assets: El Yunque National Rainforest. In doing so, we will be executing a multi- sectoral community-led rural placemaking planning and implementation process for barrio Rio Blanco in Naguabo that will not only directly impact that community\u2019s economic prospects but those of 9 surrounding neighboring municipalities that include Cano\u0301vanas, Ri\u0301o Grande, Luquillo, Fajardo, Ceiba, Naguabo, Las Piedras, Juncos and Humacao. In addition, this approach can also be scaled to other distressed Puerto Rican communities to achieve synergistic goals.
