data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>In August 2025, Foundation for Puerto Rico, in collaboration with the <a href=\"http:\/\/vivienda.pr.gov\/\">Departamento de la Vivienda<\/a>, hosted a two-part <strong>Strengthening Session of the <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/foundationforpuertorico.org\/wcrp\">Whole Community Resilience Planning Program (WCRP)<\/a> at the Barceloneta Convention Center. These sessions were part of the <em>Junte Resiliente<\/em> initiative, designed to help community leaders take their resilience plans beyond paper and into action.<\/p><p>The sessions gathered a select group of community leaders who are either working on or have already completed their <strong>Community Resilience Plans<\/strong>. Under the theme <em>\u201cDon\u2019t let it stay on paper, set your plan in motion,\u201d<\/em> the social impact firm <a href=\"https:\/\/www.causastrategies.com\/\">Causa Strategies, LLC<\/a> facilitated a seven-module curriculum tailored to the challenges of implementation.<\/p><p>Leaders worked hands-on with at least one resilience action prioritized by their community, focusing on alliance-building, civic engagement, advocacy, fundraising, and sharing successful community-based experiences.<\/p><p>The sessions brought together <strong>26 community leaders representing 12 communities across six municipalities<\/strong> in the Northwest region.
